Chalet La Pente in the snow
Traditional and modern
The free-standing chalet is exactly what you would expect of a traditional house in Switzerland, with large windows and lots of wood both inside and out. Light flows in everywhere and from every corner there is a wonderful view of the mountains, including the Matterhorn (4478m) and the Dent Blanche (4357m). The modern rustic interior, the under-floor heating and the various patios and balconies with comfy armchairs and loungers make Chalet La Pente a very comfortable house for everyone.

The chalet’s 7 bedrooms can sleep 16 guests and it is ideally suited for families or a large group. There are enough couches and chairs so that everyone can go sit and chill with a good book or a game from time to time. The long dining table and the cosy open fire makes it a delightful place to spend time indoors.
4-minute walk to the ski slopes
Whether you want to ski in the winter or walk in the summer, the mountains are less than 5 minutes away. You can read more below.
Reachability to Chalet La Pente
Les Collons is 975 kilometres from Utrecht. The town is easily accessible by car, plane and train. Here is more information about the surrounding area and how to get to the chalet. Reachability >
With 400 kilometres of ski slopes, Chalet La Pente is located in the centre of the largest ski resort in Switzerland, Les Quatre Vallées. The area surrounding the accommodation is a true skiing paradise, with ski lifts and a piste just 300 metres away. There are pistes for every level of snowboarding and skiing. The highest accessible summit is Mont-Fort with an altitude of 3330 metres, so there are plenty of challenges available for the most advanced skier.
Guaranteed snow
Snow is almost guaranteed in the area because of the many high mountains. Skiing and snowboarding are often possible here until the end of April. There are various enjoyable descents with very short waiting times at the lifts. Ski excursions to Verbier are also possible from here.
The chalet in the snow
The house’s large windows also allow those who are not so into skiing the opportunity to enjoy the mountain views. The chalet has everything you need to entertain friends or family members who want to stay at the house for a day. There are (board) games, a television with a satellite receiver, films and a stereo installation with bluetooth receiver. Thanks to the open fire, the abundant (sun) light and the underfloor heating, a day ‘at home’ is extremely comfortable.
Children
There’s plenty on offer for children. They can take some skiing lessons and the town centre has a playground with a small skating rink where skates are available to hire. Les Collons 1850m and Thyon 2000m also have many play options in the snow for young children. Next to that, the kids can play freely and safely around the chalet.
